Seoul, June 23 (Yonhap) — Hanwha Systems, a defence solutions subsidiary of South Korea's Hanwha Group, announced on Monday that it has formalized a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the American defense behemoth Northrop Grumman Corp. to collaboratively enhance integrated air defence systems.
The agreement is centered around boosting technological synergy in air defence command and control systems while also identifying new business prospects in Korea, as per Hanwha Systems.
Northrop Grumman is the creator of the Integrated Air and Missile Defence Battle Command System (IBCS), known as one of the most sophisticated air defence command and control platforms globally, according to reports from Yonhap news agency.
