In remarks to IANS during an event in the national capital, Nagpal underscored the government's efforts that have fostered a supportive atmosphere for innovation, research, and technology-driven growth in the AI sector.

“India is advancing rapidly in the AI domain under PM Modi’s guidance. The government is not only facilitating the development of AI but also emphasizing its application across various fields such as healthcare, governance, and digital infrastructure,” Nagpal remarked.

He believes this momentum will usher in significant innovations shortly. In the current digital era, he noted, data is akin to new oil.

“If companies can guarantee they operate with high-quality data, they will yield superior insights and make more informed choices,” he pointed out.

“Accurate insights stem from reliable data,” he told IANS, adding that the government’s commitment to AI will empower both large and small enterprises to flourish using advanced technologies.

Nagpal also mentioned that India is already a key player in the global IT landscape. With the introduction of a national-level large language model (LLM) supported by the government, India is set to leave its mark on global AI advancements.

“This will enable India to assume a leadership role in the AI revolution,” he asserted.

In agreement, JK Tech’s Founder and Director, Abhishek Singhania, informed IANS that Indian engineers—both domestically and internationally—are making significant strides in the AI field.

He commended the Modi government’s allocation of Rs 10,000 crore for AI research and development, describing it as a pivotal move in nurturing India’s AI ecosystem.

Simultaneously, JK Tech announced on Tuesday its partnership with Inveniam, a data integrity platform for private market assets, aimed at transforming the alternative investment landscape.

“The collaboration will aim to revolutionize the global private markets through the creation of Inveniam’s next-generation platform for alternative investments, utilizing blockchain and AI,” the company stated.
