New Delhi, Nov 14 (NationPress) The government announced on Friday that a group of 24 senior officials from 23 nations participating in the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) program visited the headquarters of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM).
This visit was part of a capacity-building effort established through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between GeM and the Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM).
“This visit signifies a crucial advancement in fostering international cooperation on reforms in digital public procurement, showcasing the collective vision of GeM and AJNIFM to enhance capacity-building, thought leadership, and procurement excellence across borders,” stated the Ministry of Commerce.
The statement further highlighted that this engagement enriched global insights into India’s transformation in digital procurement and solidified GeM’s standing as a global model for transparent, efficient, and tech-driven public procurement.
