Bhubaneswar, June 27 (NationPress) The Adani Group, led by billionaire Gautam Adani, has officially launched ‘Prasad Seva’ for the devotees of Lord Jagannath in Puri, coinciding with the influx of thousands of pilgrims for the nine-day chariot festival.
The Jagannath Rath Yatra, regarded as one of the most revered festivals in India, attracts lakhs of devotees annually to participate in its grand celebrations.
On Friday, Gautam Adani announced via X that the initiative aims to deliver wholesome and hygienic food to the devotees in Puri.
“By the infinite grace of Lord Shri Jagannath Ji, we are honored to serve during the sacred Rath Yatra of Puri Dham. Our commitment is to ensure that every devotee receives food that is not only clean and nutritious but also served with love,” the chairman of the Adani Group stated in a post on X.
He emphasized that the Adani family stands dedicated to serving millions of devotees with utmost respect and sincerity throughout these sacred festivities.
The ‘Prasad Seva’ initiative aims to enhance the Yatra experience by providing free, clean, and nutritious meals to lakhs of devotees, frontline workers, and event officials. Numerous counters will be established to distribute prasad to pilgrims and officials.
