Ratlam, June 27 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Yadav officiated the 8th Regional Industry, Skill and Employment (RISE) Conclave this past Friday at Nehru Stadium in Ratlam, signifying a crucial chapter in Madhya Pradesh's industrial evolution.
During the event, he conducted the Bhoomi Pujan and initiated 47 industrial ventures worth over Rs 1,670 crore with a single click, highlighting the state’s dedication to swift industrial development and job creation.
These initiatives are projected to generate more than 3,780 new positions, aligning with the government's vision of employment-centric growth.
While addressing the audience, the Chief Minister revealed plans for a satellite township in Ratlam to accommodate visitors for the Simhastha 2028 in Ujjain, ensuring comfortable lodging and seamless access to the month-long religious festival. Additionally, a Central government-backed textile park is set to be established in Dhar district.
The conclave, themed 'Successful Entrepreneurs, Prosperous Industries, Inclusive Growth', saw participation from over 3,500 business leaders and investors nationwide.
More than 5,000 attendees registered on the Invest MP portal, showcasing the event's rising national significance. This marks the inaugural occurrence of such a conclave at a district level, solidifying Ratlam's position as a vital industrial hub.
Chief Minister Yadav also laid the groundwork for the BJP's new district office near Pratapnagar.
The forthcoming 24,600 square-foot facility, which will replace the existing cramped office on Palace Road, is being built on land acquired for Rs 67.36 lakh, with State General Secretary Bhagwandas Sabnani overseeing the registration.
The conclave exhibited over 100 industry-related booths showcasing innovations from MSMEs and startups.
Five self-made entrepreneurs shared their inspiring stories, and a publication chronicling their journeys was unveiled to motivate aspiring business leaders.
State Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Minister Chetan Kashyap emphasized that the conclave would accelerate Ratlam's transition into the state's second-largest industrial zone.
He also announced the distribution of land allotment certificates to over 500 enterprises and the allocation of Rs 1,000 crore in loans to support more than one lakh youths in their self-employment endeavors.
The event included a virtual launch of new industrial areas in Rewa, Sagar, Alirajpur, and Pithampur.
Significantly, 16 new industrial zones valued at Rs 243 crore and 11 state-level clusters were inaugurated. These projects are anticipated to attract investment proposals totaling Rs 2,850 crore and create over 5,450 jobs.
