Are Ola Electric Users Frustrated by Service Delays?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
New Delhi, Jan 29 (NationPress) The escalating dissatisfaction among owners of Ola Electric scooters has once again highlighted the company's after-sales support, particularly as its stock prices continue to plummet in the financial markets.
Customers have resorted to social media platform X to voice their grievances regarding extended delays in repairs, towing, and inspections, despite their vehicles being under warranty and included in Ola Care+.
In one notable instance, a user from Noida reported that his Ola S1 Pro has remained out of commission for the last three months, with no towing or repairs initiated.
He stated that persistent follow-ups have led only to promises, compelling him to contemplate legal action.
“My Ola S1 Pro has been non-functional for three months. Even with warranty and Ola Care+, there’s been no towing or repairs -- just empty promises,” the user expressed.
“Having exhausted all channels, I now have no choice but to consider legal recourse,” he added.
Another dissatisfied user claimed that his Ola scooter has been idle for over 16 days, with no mechanic dispatched despite a service ticket being issued, deeming the delay intolerable.
The surge in customer complaints coincides with a period of continued pressure on Ola Electric Mobility’s stock.
On the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company’s shares closed at Rs 31.87 on Thursday, dipping by Rs 0.23 or 0.72 percent.
In the past week, the stock has decreased by 3.42 percent, and in the last two weeks, it has sharply fallen by 17.52 percent.
Over the past three months, shares have dropped more than 38 percent and have lost over half their value in the past year.
Year-to-date (YTD), the stock is down over 15 percent, reflecting ongoing investor worries regarding the company’s financial outcomes and operational difficulties.
