The Chief Minister expressed his optimism during a meeting with a delegation from Centro Agrotechnico Regional, Argentina, noting the significance of their visit to Punjab Agriculture University until October 17.
He emphasized that agriculture plays a vital role in Argentina's economy, particularly in livestock and grain production, positioning Argentina as a major player in global food supply.
Mann highlighted that this group of students, who have been studying agricultural techniques in their educational institutions, is here to explore the contemporary agricultural methodologies that Punjab offers.
The Chief Minister pointed out the historical ties between Argentina and Punjab, arguing that fostering this relationship could be advantageous for both parties, given that agriculture is crucial to both regions' economies.
He proposed that Punjab and Argentina should collaborate closely in agriculture through enhanced bilateral relations. Mann was pleased to announce that an Argentine delegation would annually visit Punjab Agriculture University as part of a study program.
