Moscow, March 20 (NationPress) Sber500, the international startup seed accelerator, announced on Thursday that it is now accepting applications for new technology startups from various nations.

To qualify, applicants must present a complete team, demonstrate finished products, and show evidence of initial sales.

The programme will emphasize AI agents, AI assistants, and science-driven solutions (DeepTech), particularly welcoming teams from the BRICS nations.

“125 startups, alumni from previous Sber500 seasons, have successfully raised over RUB 3.7 billion in funding and established nearly 9,500 commercial agreements,” stated Alexander Vedyakhin, first deputy chairman of the Executive Board at Sberbank.

“The Sber500 seed accelerator provides technology enterprises with access to global experts, Sber's partners, and investors,” he added.

Vedyakhin also noted that last year, one in four applications originated from international startups across 28 countries.

“This year, we will concentrate on AI agents and DeepTech solutions, aiming to attract an even greater number of international participants, especially from the BRICS nations,” he said.

The accelerator programme is expected to last approximately three months.

Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with senior experts and mentors from 17 countries, both in collective and individual settings.

About 150 startups are anticipated to take part in the online bootcamp, which is the initial phase of the accelerator.

Experts will assist them in refining their strategy, preparing for scaling, enhancing their market presence, and identifying partners for piloting.

Twenty-five finalists will proceed to advanced training, gaining access to 40 major Russian companies, different departments at Sber, numerous business angels, and venture funds.

The culmination will be a demo day in Moscow, where startups will pitch their solutions to executives from large firms and potential investors.

The application deadline is set for May 12, 2025, according to the company.
