New Delhi, April 2 (NationPress) The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has formed a partnership with MapmyIndia to facilitate the visibility of authorised Aadhaar centres through its Mappls App, aimed at improving convenience for residents, as stated in an official announcement on Thursday.
Users will be able to locate and access authorised Aadhaar centres according to the specific services they require, such as adult enrolment, child enrolment, or simply updating address and mobile information, the statement noted.
This partnership, formalized on April 1, 2026, aims to enhance public convenience, counter misinformation, and provide residents with easy access to advanced Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASKs) and other Aadhaar centres throughout the country, according to the Ministry of Electronics and IT.
MapmyIndia will incorporate UIDAI's Aadhaar Centre data into the Mappls platform, ensuring precise representation, digital mapping, and clear listing of these centres.
