Mumbai, April 11 (NationPress) Aan Tiwari, who plays the young Hanuman in Sony SAB’s mythological saga, "Veer Hanuman", shared insights about the show and his camaraderie with fellow actors ahead of Hanuman Jayanti this Saturday.
When asked about his preparation for the role of Lord Hanuman, Aan remarked to IANS, "I took up gymnastics to suit the character. I watched numerous videos of Lord Hanuman, learning about his stances, foot positions, and the importance of maintaining a smile at all times."
Recalling a specific memory, he shared, "I distinctly remember my father encouraging me to practice with a bat, mimicking a gada. He would have me lift and lower it every morning and evening, which significantly aided my performance!"
Discussing his experiences on set and relationships with co-stars, Aan expressed, "My time on set has been absolutely wonderful. Everyone is supportive and generous. If I struggle with any dialogue, our director patiently guides me on how to perform and deliver it. I also share a lot of fun moments with Mahir bhaiya. Although we don't usually shoot at the same time, our moments together are filled with joy!"
The young actor also revealed the admirable trait of Hanuman Ji that he emulates in his life: "The quality I respect most in Hanuman Ji is his unwavering devotion to his loved ones. He consistently supported them selflessly. I strive to embody that by being available for my family and friends whenever they require my assistance."
When discussing his celebrations for Hanuman Jayanti, he said, "Visiting the temple on Hanuman Jayanti is essential for us. We go to the temple, share prasad, and in the evening, my father and I conduct a long recital of the Hanuman Chalisa. Last time, I had the opportunity to sing the Hanuman Chalisa on stage at the temple, and the audience appreciated it immensely."
