Adivi Sesh Visits Bhadrakali Temple for Dacoit Blessings
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Feb 27 (NationPress) Actor Adivi Sesh has commenced the promotional activities for his upcoming film Dacoit by seeking divine blessings at the Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal. This visit is part of the team's strategy as they gear up for a significant release in April.
Reflecting on his journey, Adivi Sesh mentioned, “The journey of a film starts well before the actual filming begins. Dacoit holds a very personal significance for me, particularly since I’ve been involved in the scripting process from the very beginning.”
He has recently unveiled the film's first track, Rubaroo, a romantic song featuring himself and co-star Mrunal Thakur. Directed by Shaniel Deo, Dacoit also features Anurag Kashyap in a significant antagonist role.
Discussing the song, he stated, “Rubaroo is unique as it encapsulates the emotional essence of the film, highlighting the vulnerability, connection, and subtle intensity between the characters. It felt appropriate to launch our promotions with this track. Before we share this narrative with the audience, I wanted to pause and express my gratitude and seek blessings.”
“We have dedicated a lot to this project, and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it in April.”
Dacoit also features an ensemble cast including Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla, among others.
The film narrates the story of a furious convict on a quest for revenge against his ex-girlfriend, who deceived him. As he formulates a dangerous plan to ensnare her, the plot evolves into a deeply emotional saga of love, betrayal, and retribution.
Filmed simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, both the story and screenplay were collaboratively developed by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo. Currently in post-production, Dacoit is set for a grand pan-India launch.
Adivi Sesh made his acting and directing debut in 2010 with the romance film Karma and gained fame for his antagonist roles in Panjaa, Balupu, and Baahubali: The Beginning.
He has since established a strong career with notable films like Dongaata, Kshanam, Ami Thumi, Goodachari, Evaru, Major, and HIT: The Second Case.
