Mumbai, Feb 2 (NationPress) Actor Akshay Oberoi has shared his insights on collaborating with Neeraj Pandey and the esteemed Manoj Bajpayee in an anticipated project.

Reflecting on the experience, Akshay stated to IANS: “Collaborating with Neeraj Pandey sir on a film within a genre he has truly mastered was among the finest experiences I’ve had on a film set in a long time.”

“His meticulousness, his mastery of the narrative, and his comprehension of this universe are astonishing; it’s akin to participating in a masterclass every day. I genuinely believe I’ve emerged as a more skilled actor.”

The film, which is produced by the noted filmmaker Neeraj Pandey and directed by the celebrated writer-turned-director Ritesh Shah, unites a robust creative team recognized for their intricate storytelling and compelling performances.

He further remarked: “Ritesh Shah, who is at the helm of this project, infuses such clarity and depth into the material, and his insight into characters and emotions brings significant weight to every scene.”

For Akshay, working with Manoj Bajpayee was characterized by motivation, discipline, and artistic development.

He is ready to appear next in “Toxic” featuring Yash. The film also includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria.

Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas, “Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups” has been filmed simultaneously in Kannada and English, with plans for dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and several other languages.

“Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups” is said to be a gripping narrative of crime and deceit set against the backdrop of 1980s Goa, where a potent drug cartel manipulates lives amidst the state’s stunning beaches and lively culture.

The film boasts a formidable technical lineup, including National Award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, music by Ravi Basrur, editing by Ujwal Kulkarni, and production design by TP Abid.

The action scenes are crafted on a grand scale, choreographed by Hollywood action director JJ Perry (known for John Wick), along with National Award-winning action directors Anbariv and Kecha Khamphakdee.
