Mumbai, Jan 21 (NationPress) Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan are upholding their bond as the former voiced his support for Salman following reports that Akshay departed the sets of 'Bigg Boss 18' without filming after Salman reportedly arrived late.

The actor addressed the matter in the national capital on Monday, providing clarity on the situation.

Akshay explained that he had prior commitments, which necessitated his early departure from the sets.

As he anticipates the release of his first film this year, 'Skyforce', Akshay mentioned that he had a conversation with Salman before leaving, confirming that all was well between them.

He told reporters in Delhi, "I was running late for something important. I communicated with Salman, who was dealing with a personal matter. He informed me he would be approximately 40 minutes late. Nevertheless, I had to leave due to my earlier obligation. Mujhe jana pada. However, we discussed it beforehand."
