Mumbai, Jan 23 (NationPress) Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who is eagerly anticipating the release of his new film ‘Sky Force’, has revealed his deep fascination for movies grounded in true events.

On Thursday, the actor shared an image of himself in character from ‘Sky Force’ on his Instagram. This film is also based on a true story, showcasing Akshay as a distinguished air force officer in all his glory.

In his caption, he wrote, “I’ve participated in over 150 films, yet there’s something distinctly impactful about the phrase ‘based on a true story’. Moreover, playing the role of an Air Force officer has been an extraordinary experience.”

He added, “‘Sky Force’ narrates an untold tale of honor, courage, and patriotism that merits being shared. Catch it in theaters starting tomorrow.”

Previously, Akshay expressed his support for fellow actor Salman Khan amid reports of him departing the ‘Bigg Boss 18’ set without filming, as Salman allegedly arrived late.

He clarified the situation by stating that he had prior engagements, which compelled him to leave the set.

Akshay mentioned that he had discussed the situation with Salman before his departure, ensuring that all was well between them.

He told the media in Delhi, “I was delayed for another commitment. I communicated with Salman, who was also dealing with a personal matter. He informed me he would be about 40 minutes late. However, I had to leave due to a prior obligation. Mujhe jana pada. Nevertheless, we discussed it.”

Meanwhile, ‘Sky Force’ is scheduled for release on January 24.
