Mumbai, Jan 23 (NationPress) Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who is eagerly anticipating the release of his new film ‘Sky Force’, has expressed his enduring admiration for films that are inspired by true stories.

On Thursday, the actor posted a photo on his Instagram showcasing his role in ‘Sky Force’, which also draws from real-life events. The image features his character as a highly decorated Air Force officer in full regalia.

In the caption, he stated, “Having participated in over 150 films, I find there’s something profoundly impactful about the phrase ‘based on a true story’. Moreover, wearing the uniform of an Air Force officer has been an extraordinary experience.”

He added, “‘Sky Force’ narrates an untold tale of honor, bravery, and patriotism that deserves to be told. Catch it in theaters beginning tomorrow.”

Previously, Akshay showed support for his peer, Salman Khan, after rumors suggested Akshay walked off the set of ‘Bigg Boss 18’ due to Salman’s late arrival.

He provided clarification on the situation, explaining that he had pre-existing commitments that necessitated his departure from the set.

In a statement to the media in Delhi, he said, “I was delayed for another engagement. I spoke with Salman, who was dealing with a personal matter. He informed me he would be about 40 minutes late. However, I had to leave because of my prior obligation. I had to go. Nevertheless, we discussed it.”
