The actor captivated social media users with his imitation of actress Aditi Rao Hydari's viral Gajagamini walk from the streaming series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’.
Ali was spotted in a stylish white suit, completing his look with a moustache and short hair.
On the professional front, Ali’s career appears to be thriving. After reprising his role as the iconic Guddu bhaiya in ‘Mirzapur’ Season 3, he has three upcoming projects lined up.
In 2025, he will appear in ‘Metro… In Dino’, ‘Lahore 1947’, and ‘Thug Life’. On a personal note, Ali recently welcomed a baby girl with his wife Richa Chadha. Videos emerged of the actor at the Jaipur airport, kindly asking photographers to keep their distance so as not to disturb his sleeping daughter, earning him praise from fans.
Earlier on Saturday, the IIFA recognized the contributions of digital content creators and artists. Kriti Sanon won the IIFA Digital Award for Performance in a Leading Role, Female (Film) for her Netflix film ‘Do Patti’, where she played dual roles.
In another touching moment, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor were seen embracing on the IIFA stage. The duo shares a rich history, having been romantically involved for 4-5 years before moving on to marry other partners.
Both actors starred together in the iconic film ‘Jab We Met’, released in 2007. Their relationship ended towards the conclusion of the film's shooting, marking a significant shift for the rom-com genre in Hindi cinema and establishing Imtiaz Ali's reputation.
The film, primarily set in Mumbai, Bhatinda, and Shimla, follows the story of Aditya Kashyap (played by Shahid), a heartbroken businessman who boards a train and meets a talkative Punjabi girl, Geet Dhillon (played by Kareena). Their missed train leads them on a journey to her home, igniting a transformative love story.
This film also marked the beginning of a long-term collaboration between Imtiaz, music composer Pritam, and lyricist Irshad Kamil.
