The couple is set to exchange vows on December 4 at the renowned Annapurna Studios in a lavish yet intimate ceremony. A source close to the wedding disclosed, “Allu Arjun and his family will be present at Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita’s wedding in Hyderabad. Truly, all roads lead to the city for this extraordinary celebration.”
The insider also mentioned that close friends from the industry and other notable celebrities are expected to grace this high-profile wedding.
The wedding venue, Annapurna Studios, holds significant ties to Naga Chaitanya’s family heritage. Founded in 1976 by his legendary grandfather, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, this 22-acre property in Banjara Hills has long stood as a beacon of cinematic excellence and family pride.
Sobhita recently marked her Pelli Kuturu ceremony, a traditional bridal shower, sharing touching moments from the event on social media.
A source who attended the ceremony remarked, “The wedding festivities for Sobhita kicked off with the Pelli Raata ceremony, typically performed before the bride’s wedding. Following this, they held the Mangalasnaanam rituals, which is a Telugu version of Haldi. The Pelli Kuthuru ceremony featured Sobhita in bridal attire, with an Aarti performed, where she was blessed by married women and adorned with bangles. Naga Chaitanya and his family later joined for lunch.”
The couple’s pre-wedding celebrations commenced with a vibrant Haldi ceremony. A video that surfaced online showcased the soon-to-be-married couple sitting side by side as family members joyfully showered them with flowers. Sobhita looked stunning in a red saree complemented by a matching blouse and traditional jewelry, while Naga Chaitanya donned a white kurta and pajamas.
On her wedding day, the actress will adorn herself with jewelry, including maathapatti, bajubandh, and kamarbandh, among other exquisite pieces.
