Naga Chaitanya to Pay Tribute to Grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao with Traditional 'Pancha' at His Wedding

Mumbai, Dec 3 (NationPress) Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya, who is preparing to wed Bollywood actress Sobhita Dhulipala, is celebrating his family's heritage amidst the wedding festivities. The actor will pay tribute to his grandfather, the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao, by wearing a traditional outfit called 'pancha', reminiscent of his grandfather’s classic fashion on Wednesday.

Naga Chaitanya will wear the 'pancha' during the wedding ceremony, a decision that has resonated emotionally with fans, who have taken to social media to commend him for his humility and respect for his roots.

Recently, the couple’s 'mangal snaanam' ritual became a viral sensation due to its heartfelt simplicity. They are set to have an 8-hour wedding ceremony at Annapurna Studios, which was established in 1976 by Akkineni Nageswara Rao and spans 22 acres in the Banjara Hills area of Hyderabad.

It was reported earlier that Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, who is eagerly anticipating the release of his upcoming film 'Pushpa: The Rule', will be attending the wedding with his family.

In preparation for the wedding, Sobhita recently celebrated her Pelli Kuturu ceremony, a traditional bridal shower. The actress shared touching moments from the event, including photographs of her seeking blessings from elders, setting the tone for a culturally rich and meaningful celebration.

Reports indicate that for her special day, Sobhita has selected a Kanjivaram silk saree adorned with real gold zari, honoring her heritage. Furthermore, she has opted for a white khadi saree, handwoven in Ponduru, Andhra Pradesh, which she will pair with a matching outfit for Naga Chaitanya. These choices reflect their mutual appreciation for timeless craftsmanship and cultural heritage.
