Venkatesh Daggubati Shares Touching Moments from Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala's Wedding

Mumbai, Dec 7 (NationPress) The renowned Telugu actor Venkatesh Daggubati has extended his best wishes to the newly married actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala.
Recently, the esteemed actor shared a series of delightful photographs from the wedding festivities of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita on his Instagram account.
In the images, he is seen alongside Naga Chaitanya and his family, all joyfully posing for the camera. The first image captures the senior actor applying kala tika on Naga Chaitanya. Another picture includes Venkatesh Daggubati's nephew, Rana Daggubati, who is also a prominent figure in Telugu cinema.
In his caption, Venkatesh expressed, “Celebrating love, happiness, and family #SoChay”.
Earlier, the couple visited the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Andhra Pradesh, accompanied by Telugu megastar and Naga Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna.
Naga Chaitanya donned a traditional white pancha, while Sobhita chose a vibrant yellow saree. Nagarjuna was seen in a kurta and pyjama during this outing.
The wedding of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala was a spectacular event held in Hyderabad, attended by numerous notable personalities from the Telugu film industry.
In a heartfelt gesture, Naga Chaitanya paid homage to his grandfather, the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao, by wearing a traditional pancha that echoed his grandfather’s classic style during the ceremony.
Sobhita Dhulipala adorned herself with her mother and grandmother's traditional jewelry for the ‘Raata ceremony’. This ceremony holds great significance in many Telugu customs, marking a crucial step before the bride's official marriage. During this ritual, a bamboo stick is erected along with the leaves of mango, jamun, and jammi trees, which are then honored with sacred offerings such as pancha loha, navaratan (nine gems), and navadhaanya (nine grains).
A sacred potli (bag) is attached to the pole, and prayers are made to the pancha bhuta (five elements) and deities from all eight directions. This ritual is believed to purify and bless the bride as she embarks on her married life.
Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, with the couple tying the knot in 2017. However, they announced their separation four years later in 2021.
