Mumbai, December 4 (NationPress) Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have officially exchanged vows on December 4 at the celebrated Annapurna Studios during a lavish yet intimate ceremony.
Images from their wedding celebrations have emerged online. Naga was seen wearing a traditional pancha (dhoti), fully immersed in the sacred rituals. On the other hand, Sobhita looked stunning in a beautiful Kanjivaram silk saree embellished with real gold zari, showcasing her rich cultural heritage. The actress was adorned with exquisite jewelry, including a maathapatti, bajubandh, and a kamarbandh, among various other striking pieces.
Numerous celebrities were in attendance, such as Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and his family, PV Sindhu, Nayanthara, along with the Akkineni and Daggubati clans, and NTR, among others, at this high-profile event.
The wedding unfolded at Annapurna Studios, a site of great significance to Naga Chaitanya’s family. Founded in 1976 by his legendary grandfather, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, this expansive 22-acre estate in Banjara Hills has long represented a legacy of cinematic excellence.
Sobhita recently celebrated her Pelli Kuturu ceremony, a customary bridal shower, sharing heartfelt moments from the occasion across social media. The couple's pre-wedding festivities commenced with a vibrant Haldi ceremony.
Previously, a source disclosed the wedding would adhere to traditional customs, stating, "It’s going to be more than 8 hours of wedding rituals in accordance with Telugu Brahmin traditions, which Sobhita and Chaitanya are following for their wedding. For those unfamiliar, the bond between Naga and Sobhita ignited at a birthday celebration in Hyderabad, where the actress was promoting her film Major. It is reported that their initial conversation about cars marked the beginning of a friendship that blossomed into romance. Shortly after, Naga Chaitanya invited Sobhita to visit his residence, leading to them being spotted leaving together in the same vehicle.
On August 8, the couple officially announced their engagement.
