Sobhita Dhulipala's Pre-Wedding Pelli Raata Ceremony Welcomes Chaitanya's Family

Mumbai, Nov 30 (NationPress) The lovely couple Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya are in the midst of their wedding preparations, and the pre-wedding celebrations have officially commenced.

A participant at the event shared, “Sobhita's wedding celebrations kicked off with the Pelli Raata ceremony, which traditionally occurs before the bride's transition into marriage. Following that, they engaged in the Mangalasnaanam rituals, a Telugu equivalent of the Haldi ceremony.”

“Additionally, a Pelli Kuthuru ceremony was held where Sobhita donned a stunning bridal outfit, during which an Aarti was performed, and she received blessings and bangles from married women. Subsequently, Naga Chaitanya and his relatives joined them for a delightful lunch.”

On Friday, images from their Haldi ceremony surfaced across social media platforms.

A video compilation showcased the couple adorned in traditional attire during the Haldi festivities. In the footage, they are seen seated together as their family members cheerfully shower them with flowers. Sobhita appeared luminous in a red saree complemented by a matching blouse and traditional jewelry, while Chaitanya sported a white kurta and pajamas. The couple radiated joy throughout this touching moment.

For her first appearance, she chose a red saree paired with a choker and a maang tikka. In her second look, she embraced the character of Vanathi from "Ponniyin Selvan," donning a traditional yellow outfit for the ceremony.

Sobhita also shared glimpses from her Pasupu Danchadam ceremony, where she wore a saree with a gold and green border.

In her post accompanying the pictures, she expressed, “Godhuma Raayi Pasupu Danchadam And so it begins.” Pasupu Danchadam is a cherished Telugu pre-wedding tradition that signifies the initiation of wedding festivities.

The couple is set to exchange vows on December 4 in Hyderabad.
