Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala's Temple Visit in Andhra Pradesh with Nagarjuna

Mumbai, Dec 6 (NationPress) The newlywed actor duo Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala were spotted visiting the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Andhra Pradesh on Friday.

This temple visit was their first public outing following their wedding on December 4. Accompanying them was the Telugu superstar and Naga Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna.

Naga Chaitanya donned a traditional white pancha, while Sobhita chose a vibrant yellow saree. Nagarjuna was dressed in a kurta and pyjama for the occasion.

The wedding of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala was a lavish event held in Hyderabad, attended by numerous prominent figures from the Telugu film industry.

During the ceremony, Naga Chaitanya honored his grandfather, the iconic Akkineni Nageswara Rao, by wearing traditional attire that echoed his grandfather’s classic style.

Sobhita Dhulipala also adorned herself with traditional jewelry passed down from her mother and grandmother for the Raata ceremony, an essential pre-wedding tradition in many Telugu cultures. This event signifies a crucial step before the bride's official wedding. It involves planting a bamboo stick accompanied by leaves from mango, jamun, and Jammi trees, which are worshipped with sacred items like pancha loha, navaratan (nine gems), and navadhaanya (nine grains).

A sacred potli (bag) is tied to the pole as prayers are offered to the pancha bhuta (five elements) and deities of all eight directions. This ritual is believed to purify and bless the bride as she embarks on her married life.

According to a source close to the actress, the jewelry worn by Sobhita was particularly meaningful as it belonged to her mother and grandmother, making the occasion even more special.

Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, with whom he tied the knot in 2017. However, the couple announced their separation four years later in 2021.
