Mumbai, Feb 7 (NationPress) Actress Sobhita Dhulipala has expressed her excitement about finally seeing her husband Naga Chaitanya's clean-shaven face.

Sobhita took to her Instagram stories, showering accolades on Chaitanya and his film “Thandel”, which is set to hit theaters today.

“#Thandel release day tomorrow! The excitement is palpable as I have witnessed your unwavering focus and positivity throughout the filmmaking process. I can't wait for everyone (including myself) to experience this extraordinary love story in cinemas starting tomorrow,” she shared alongside an image of Chaitanya from the film.

She also added a line in Telugu: “Finally gaddam shave chesthavu.. modati sari ni mukham darshanam avuthundi saami @chayakkineni.”

This translates to: “Finally, you will shave your beard, and I will see your face.”

Recently, Chaitanya and Sobhita celebrated their wedding, which was a grand event in Hyderabad, attended by prominent figures from the Telugu film industry.

During the ceremony, Chaitanya honored his grandfather, the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao, by wearing a traditional outfit known as 'pancha', reminiscent of his grandfather's iconic style.

Sobhita adorned herself with jewelry passed down from her mother and grandmother for the ‘Raata ceremony’. This ceremony holds significant importance in many Telugu customs.

In this event, a bamboo stick is planted alongside leaves from mango, jamun, and Jammi trees, which are then worshipped using sacred items like pancha loha, navaratan (nine gems), and navadhaanya (nine grains).

A sacred potli (bag) is tied to the pole, and prayers are offered to the pancha bhuta (five elements) and the deities of all eight directions. This ritual is believed to purify and bless the bride as she embarks on her married life.

As for “Thandel”, the film is a romantic action thriller directed by Chandoo Mondeti and features Sai Pallavi.

The storyline centers around the rugged experiences of fishermen from Srikakulam, who accidentally drift into Pakistani waters during a routine fishing expedition.
