Mumbai, Sep 10 (NationPress) In a nostalgic moment during a recent episode of the beloved game show, "Kaun Banega Crorepati", host Amitabh Bachchan reflected on his youthful days as a student at Sherwood Boys' School in Nainital.
When a contestant mentioned her time at All Saint's in Nainital, an enthusiastic Amitabh recalled how every Sunday, students from both Sherwood and All Saint's would converge at the Chapel.
He mentioned that it was the one day when the boys from his school would dress up nicely and look very presentable for the parade.
Reflecting on those cherished moments, Big B noted that during prayer time, boys would secretly share love letters with the girls, all unbeknownst to the teachers.
Additionally, while hosting "Kaun Banega Crorepati", Amitabh recounted a thrilling encounter with an elephant. He shared his thrilling jungle safari experience in Africa, where other tourists mistakenly provoked an elephant.
He explained, “In Africa, there’s a safari park where we went to observe wildlife. We encountered a traffic jam on the road. We wondered why there was a jam as it’s uncommon in a jungle. We were informed, “An elephant is blocking the road. We had to wait.”
However, one impatient tourist accelerated his car to bypass the elephant. This angered the elephant, which retaliated by charging at the other vehicles.
Big B recounted, “The car ahead of us had been stuck for quite a while. The elephant swung his trunk and struck the car. Then, seeing the traffic jam, the elephant began to charge towards it.”
“All the cars shifted into reverse and sped away. The elephant pursued us for about five miles. Thankfully, rangers intervened. Apparently, the elephant was just on its way to meet his mate. We were fortunate to escape,” he added.
