Mumbai, Sep 6 (NationPress) In a recent episode of the widely acclaimed game show, "Kaun Banega Crorepati?", host Amitabh Bachchan candidly expressed his emotions upon stumbling upon an old photograph of himself.
He disclosed that he had come across a vintage black-and-white snapshot where he is seen standing before a building with his arms crossed. The legendary actor donned bell-bottom pants paired with a matching shirt.
"I found myself gazing at the photograph for quite a while and ended up chuckling when I saw my own image. Even though it was indeed my face, it felt as if I was observing someone entirely different. The hairstyle, clothing, and body language all belonged to a bygone era - I felt quite peculiar," Big B remarked.
Amitabh mentioned that during the time the picture was taken, he believed he looked remarkably fashionable and suave.
"Photographs remind us that time affects not just our appearances but also our mentalities and aspirations," Big B emphasized.
Moreover, Amitabh shared a heartfelt regret regarding his inability to spend quality time with his children, Abhishek and Shweta.
While hosting another season of "Kaun Banega Crorepati?", he reminisced about the busy days of filming while his wife, Jaya Bachchan, was nurturing their children.
In a conversation with a contestant, Big B reflected, “Our lifestyle was quite simple. Jaya managed the kids, and I focused on my career,” stated Bachchan. “However, one thing I genuinely regret is not being present for my children during their early years. I worked from dawn till dusk. When I left for work in the morning, they were still asleep, and when I returned, they were already in bed. Jaya took care of everything.”
"At times, I wish I could have spent more moments with Abhishek and Shweta. But we resolved that Sundays would be strictly family time, free from work. We would prepare meals for the kids and enjoy them together on that day. Even now, we maintain that tradition of gathering as a family for meals every Sunday,” he concluded.
