Mumbai, Aug 20 (NationPress) The iconic Amitabh Bachchan believes that unwavering commitment to a singular path is essential for achieving one's ultimate goals, urging individuals to steer clear of the myriad paths proposed by others.
Big B expressed his thoughts on his blog, stating: “Never take never granted for granted (sic).”
The celebrated actor recited a poem by his legendary father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, titled “Madhushala,” which emphasizes that throughout life, many will present different and often conflicting journeys.
Through this reflection, Big B advocated for a focused mindset, perseverance, and the importance of not being swayed by numerous choices.
He remarked: “Pandering to authority right .. in the right sense; but often people find themselves, in these conditions sitting on the fence .. for the right…”
“Alag alag path batate sab, par main yeh batlaya hun; raah pakad tu ek chala chal pa jaaayega Madhushala…” There exists but one route to your ultimate destination; keep advancing on this path and you will arrive. (sic.)
The legendary figure is currently hosting the latest season of the quiz show “Kaun Banega Crorepati.” On August 15, he mentioned the emotional toll of witnessing contestants who do not succeed on the show.
“We sit on the hot seat and engage with contestants who harbor ambitious dreams of winning during their week on set. When they fall short, it is immensely challenging to manage the disappointment of lost potential for them, yes. (sic.)” he shared on his blog.
“For me, it’s also emotionally overwhelming to see their tears as they realize their time has ended, the buzzer has sounded, and the chance to play for personal reasons is gone (sic.)”
He believes that while he tries to provide comfort, the loss of such a transformative opportunity is deeply saddening.
“No amount of consolation can truly ease their pain. Many have sacrificed studies or job opportunities to be present here and then to face defeat is incredibly hard (sic.)”
“Yet, what can we do? A smile of 'try again' or a word of encouragement that everything will be okay... loss is not the end; it’s a lesson, adhering to: Mann ka ho to acha; na ho toh zyada acha. (sic.)”
“However, few believe this, which is heartbreaking. But as it's said, the show goes on... you leave thinking not of the winner and their expertise, but of those who tried yet did not succeed. Life is a tough endeavor.” (sic.)
