Chennai, Sep 29 (NationPress) In a heartfelt statement regarding the tragic loss of lives at a political rally in Karur, which resulted in 41 fatalities, the team behind 'Mask', a film being produced by the renowned actress Andrea Jeremiah, has expressed their solidarity with the families affected by this calamity.
On Monday, Andrea shared a poignant tweet in Tamil on her X timeline on behalf of her film crew. She conveyed her sorrow over the unfortunate incident in Karur and articulated their prayers for the swift recovery of those injured and receiving medical attention following the tragedy.
In her condolence message, which can be loosely translated from Tamil, she stated, "We are profoundly saddened to hear about the loss of lives, including women and children, in the incident at Karur. We share the pain of the families mourning their loved ones and pray to nature for the complete and rapid recovery of those who are seriously injured and currently in treatment, so they can return home soon."
For those unfamiliar, Andrea is stepping into the role of producer for the upcoming Tamil film 'Mask', directed by Vikarnan Ashok, featuring actor Kavin in the leading role.
