Anil Kapoor Bids Farewell to Agra, Expresses Gratitude to Local Authorities for Their Kindness

Mumbai, Nov 30 (NationPress) Renowned actor Anil Kapoor has said goodbye to Agra and expressed his appreciation to the police and government officials for their warmth and care.

In a post on Instagram, he shared a photo collage in his stories section, featuring moments with his team, fans, and police personnel in front of the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world.

While he did not disclose the reason for his visit or what he was filming there, he expressed: “Goodbye, Agra! I am thankful for the love, rich history, and unforgettable hospitality. A sincere thank you to the police, government officials, and the wonderful people of Agra for your warmth and care. You’ve created memories we will treasure forever!”

Previously, the actor shared glimpses of a romantic outing with his wife, Sunita Kapoor, at the Taj Mahal.

The photos included a quote from Alain de Botton’s ‘On Love’: “Perhaps it is true that we do not really exist until there is someone there to see us existing… we are not wholly alive until we are loved.”

Regarding his career, Anil, who was recently featured in “Fighter” alongside Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, is preparing for his upcoming film ‘Subedaar’, an action-drama directed by Suresh Triveni, known for works like ‘Tumhari Sulu’ and ‘Jalsa’, bringing his unique storytelling style to this project.

In other news, Anil’s ‘The Night Manager’ faced defeat against ‘Les Gouttes de Dieu’ at the International Emmy Awards in the Best Drama Series category.

“The Night Manager” was nominated along with “Les Gouttes de Dieu (Drops of God), “The Newsreader” from Australia, and the Argentinian series “Iosi, El Espia Arrepentido – Season 2”.

Created by Sandeep Modi, “The Night Manager” is a crime thriller series that serves as a remake of the British television series of the same name, based on the 1993 novel by John Le Carre. The series also features Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Ravi Behl, and Saswata Chatterjee.
