Mumbai, Feb 10 (NationPress) Acclaimed actor Annu Kapoor recently expressed his opinions regarding the ongoing controversy involving Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia. He emphasized that those with the authority to initiate legal proceedings in this matter should certainly take action.

When further questioned about the shift of vulgar content from OTT platforms to comedy shows, Annu Kapoor stated, "The personnel in the OTT industry are the same individuals who previously faced limitations on television. They are attuned to the audience's preferences. If vulgarity is what viewers desire, they will readily provide it. It's a matter of demand and supply. There won't be even one percent of viewers who dislike such content."

Moreover, singer B Praak has chosen to cancel his podcast featuring Ranveer Allahbadia. In an Instagram video, B Praak articulated his reasoning, saying, "Ranveer Allahbadia, you advocate for Sanatan Dharm, speak about spirituality, and host prominent figures on your show, yet you possess such a mentality? I urge everyone—if we do not act against this now, our children's future is at stake."

Previously, comedian Sunil Pal also voiced his disapproval of Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia. In a conversation with IANS, Sunil Pal remarked, "Do not label them as stand-up comedians; that would be a disservice to true stand-up comedy. They are uneducated individuals who deserve to be treated like terrorists."

He further added, "Our youth are striving to become responsible and cultured from respectable backgrounds. Nonetheless, these so-called comedians are given platforms where they indulge in vulgarity and offensive remarks. Ironically, the event organizers are well-educated. Instead of delivering meaningful messages, they are endorsing obscenity."

During the show, "India's Got Latent,” Ranveer Allahbadia posed a controversial inquiry to a contestant regarding their parents' sexual or intimate relationship, leading to severe backlash on social media.
