Mumbai, Feb 12 (NationPress) At a recent event titled "Chhaava", the Oscar-winning composer A. R. Rahman made headlines by commenting on the ongoing uproar surrounding the show "India's Got Latent".

When actor Vicky Kaushal invited A. R. Rahman to summarize his music using three emojis, the renowned composer humorously replied with, "the one with the mouth closed". He then quipped, "I think, past week we have seen what all happens when the mouth opens." This witty remark left Vicky Kaushal and others present at the event momentarily stunned. Vicky responded, "Talk about roasting!".

Meanwhile, comedian Samay Raina shared on his Instagram stories that he has removed all content related to "India's Got Latent" from his YouTube channel.

He stated on the photo-sharing platform, "Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all Indias Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you (sic)."

Additionally, podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia previously made a public apology, where he confessed in a video, "My comment was not appropriate, was not even funny; comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry. Many of you asked if this is how I use my platform; obviously, this is not how I wished to use it."

He continued, "I am not going to give any context, any justification, or reasoning behind whatever happened. I am just offering an apology. I personally had a lapse in my judgment; it was not cool on my part."

In the meantime, the National Commission for Women (NCW) will be questioning Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and others regarding the controversy surrounding the show "India's Got Latent".

The controversy stemmed from an inappropriate question posed by Ranveer Allahbadia to a contestant about their parents' sexual relationship during a recent episode.
