Mumbai, Dec 3 (NationPress) Renowned singer and composer Armaan Malik has once again captivated audiences with his enchanting track, “Chal Musafir” from the film "Gustaakh Ishq".

Reflecting on his recent artistic journey, Armaan described it as a life-changing experience as he ventured into the realm of 'Gustaakh Ishq'.

Recollecting his collaboration with Vishal Bhardwaj, Armaan termed the partnership as 'refreshing'.

He expressed his appreciation for how Vishal Bhardwaj granted him significant freedom, allowing him to discover his own truth within the music.

“Entering Vishal sir’s musical universe was not only a privilege but also a transformative change in outlook. His compositions demand both vulnerability and precision, and he effortlessly achieves that balance. What resonated with me the most was the creative liberty he offered. He didn't delve into excessive explanations; he presented a feeling, a world, and entrusted me to uncover my own truth within it. As a vocalist, that kind of freedom is rare and incredibly motivating.”

The film "Gustaakh Ishq" also marks the debut of designer Manish Malhotra as a producer under his banner, Stage5 Productions.

In an exclusive interview with IANS, lead actor Vijay Varma highlighted how Manish elevated the character of Pappan, who is otherwise depicted as 'poor', by his astute choices in costumes.

Vijay shared that Manish was deeply involved in crafting his look for the film.

“His input was crucial because the narrative unfolds in a setting where resources are scarce,” he noted.

“My character is impoverished, barely managing to survive. I assumed that a phatichar (broke) would inherently appear distressed and worn-out. However, given that this is a Manish Malhotra production, he chose to portray the phatichar with a unique flair. My character may not possess much, but whatever he has, he wears with style. That’s the brilliance of Manish, as he truly comprehends the essence of cinema,” Vijay expressed.
