A video posted on the Asian Paints YouTube channel features Arshad Warsi guiding viewers through his residence, where he discusses the intricate details of the décor and design. Arshad Warsi and Maria Goretti possess a delightful Portuguese-style house in Goa.
This residence has been meticulously crafted by Maria herself. Yet, the most captivating element of the home is the integration of beloved family heirlooms into its design. While highlighting a wooden cupboard in the blue room, Arshad remarked, "This piece belongs to Maria's grandmother. There’s another cupboard in another room that was owned by her mother.
Arshad also displayed several antique cups and saucers, stating, "These belonged to Maria's grandmother. I believe this serves as a valuable lesson for young people: appreciate your parents and grandparents. These are the treasures you should hold dear."
Reflecting on their home and the occasional disagreements over décor, Maria commented, "I don’t think we argue as much in real life as we do about the homes we've created over the years.” Arshad added, "In a relationship, you must agree to disagree. Disagreements are part of it. If I were to agree with everything Maria says, I'd be untruthful."
Arshad Warsi and Maria Goretti tied the knot in 1999. They celebrated their 25th anniversary in February 2024, just weeks after they officially registered their marriage. Arshad's affection for Goa is well-known, as he has frequently expressed his fondness for the region.
His first visit to Goa was as a dancer during his teenage years. Arshad and Maria also own several other properties in Goa.
