Mumbai, Dec 30 (NationPress) The legendary vocalist Asha Bhosle ignited the stage at a concert in Dubai while performing the sensational hit ‘Tauba Tauba’. A clip from the event circulated on social media, highlighting the iconic singer's impressive vocal skills.
In the footage, she was elegantly attired in a white saree with a black border. She even set her microphone aside to showcase a portion of the dance move from the song, which had already captivated audiences with Vicky Kaushal’s trending hook step, eliciting enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
The track ‘Tauba Tauba’, created and sung by Karan Aujla, features in the film ‘Bad Newz’, starring Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri, and Ammy Virk.
Karan Aujla also shared his thoughts on the video, describing it as a memorable moment. He took to his Instagram Stories to express, “@asha.bhosle ji The living Goddess of music, just performed tauba tauba… a song composed by someone who grew up in a modest village, without any musical background or knowledge of instruments. A melody crafted by a person who doesn’t play any instrument (sic).”
He continued, “This song has garnered immense love and appreciation from fans and fellow artists alike, but this moment is genuinely unforgettable and one I will cherish forever. I feel incredibly blessed and thankful. This has truly motivated me to continue providing you all with beautiful melodies and to create more cherished memories together.”
He added in another story, “I wrote it at 27. She performed it at 91, even better than I did.”
Asha Bhosle collaborated with Sonu Nigam for a special live performance in Dubai on Sunday. The duo entertained audiences at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.
