The trailer opens with Jayaram admonishing his son Kalidas for spending his days merely eating, watching movies, and loafing about. Despite this, Kalidas believes he has the talent to succeed in acting.
His overconfidence leads him to think that when someone suggests acting classes, they’re asking him to teach them instead.
In a twist, Sumith, an actor, offers to be his godfather, prompting Kalidas to consider the connections necessary for success in the film industry.
As the plot unfolds, a friendly rivalry develops between father and son. Jayaram remarks, "In a competition, one wins while the other loses..." and Kalidas teases him about the pain of losing. Jayaram tries to impart wisdom, stating, "Everyone has many dreams. But at some point, we must realize whether we truly deserve them. If not, we must let them go and live simply for existence."
Kalidas, on his part, attempts to make his father see how a father's support can uplift a child's confidence and help them tackle challenges, lamenting the absence of such encouragement from Jayaram. The trailer wraps up with Jayaram posing a poignant question, "What occurs when someone who has only known defeat is given a chance to win?"
