Chennai, Feb 12 (NationPress) Director Ashwath Marimuthu has garnered significant online interest with his comedic 'Kadhara Kadhara' promo for a dream song featured in Dragon. He revealed that the inspiration for this promo originated from the film's lead actor, Pradeep Ranganathan, during their train journey across Europe.

In a recent media session, Ashwath stated, “It was Pradeep who suggested creating a promo. He remarked, ‘We’ve traveled all this way (to shoot a song). Shouldn’t we also film a promo video?”

Elaborating further, Ashwath mentioned, “While we were engaged in shooting, we had to navigate through multiple countries, making timing crucial. Amidst this, Pradeep proposed the idea, which I found quite insightful.”

He continued, “During our discussions about the promo on the train, I got a bit enthusiastic and exclaimed, 'Kadhara... Kadhara.. Kadhara.' Pradeep burst into laughter, and I inquired about the reason for his amusement. Our conversation naturally flowed, and it was Pradeep who highlighted that the ‘Kadhara Kadhara’ segment was catchy and needed more takes.”

Ashwath shared that they initially refrained from presenting it to the producer, stating, “At first, we kept it from producer Archana Kalpathi as we were uncertain about her reaction. Besides, I was also featured in the frame. However, once we shared it with her and the associate creative producer, their laughter confirmed that the promo was a success.”

Dragon is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh, with music composed by Leon James and cinematography handled by Niketh Bommi.

Editing is managed by Pradeep E Ragav, while stunts are coordinated by Vicky and Dilip Subbarayan. The film’s storyline is co-created by Ashwath Marimuthu and Pradeep Ranganathan, with dialogues and screenplay penned by Ashwath.
