Mumbai, April 1 (NationPress) Choreographer-director Ahmed Khan is preparing to introduce his son Azaan to the film industry this year. He revealed that Azaan chose to pursue acting after acquiring knowledge across various aspects of filmmaking.

Azaan has been diligently training for his debut in Bollywood, with the film scheduled to commence production this year.

Ahmed expressed that there is no definitive right or wrong moment to unveil a new talent.

He stated, “At 23, we believe he is ready to grace the silver screen, which has always been his aspiration. He hasn't been coerced into this; being a technician's son, he understands the intricate workings behind the camera and how to piece together a complex project.”

He continued, “The team, along with his director, is confident in his readiness. I will be producing his debut film, and he possesses the talent required. He is also undergoing additional training to improve his dialect, with Urdu as his mother tongue, which enhances his comfort with the language necessary for Hindi cinema.

Ahmed further noted that training in the film industry is a continuous journey.

He told IANS, “He has been training since he could comprehend, around the age of seven or eight. He has always envisioned his path. His training has evolved progressively from that age. Initially, he aspired to be a choreographer, then a director, followed by a creative role in editing, and later expressed interest in music. Ultimately, he acquired a bit of everything and decided to explore acting, believing he could excel in it.”

“He faced his challenges at home for about three years, which served as his preparation. I believe that training and preparation are ongoing processes. Each film he makes in the future will require a unique approach to preparation, and that's what makes it special,” the choreographer concluded.
