Mumbai, Dec 13 (NationPress) Singer Benny Dayal and composer Ayaz Ismail, based in Dallas, have captivated listeners with their recent release, 'Chahe Jaan Le'.

In an exclusive interview with IANS, Benny expressed his affection for the melody of the song.

When asked about the emotional depth paired with a modern sonic baritone in his new single, he reflected, “This song fits perfectly within my artistic style. Rhythm & Blues has always resonated with me. I knew it wasn’t just another typical film song. It feels simple, distinctive, and elegantly understated.”

He continued, “Ayaz allowed me complete creative freedom during recording. I experimented with various textures and fell in love with the melody for its unconventional nature. I aim to select songs that vary widely to enhance my versatility.”

Benny shared that the song's core message, which revolves around love and friendship, resonated with him personally. “I appreciate simplicity—when production is executed well, it creates an instant connection with listeners. Ayaz composed this with my voice in mind, and he nailed it. Some songs resonate with you immediately; this was one of those rare gems in my discography, and I felt compelled to perform it,” he conveyed.

Regarding the song's musical identity, Benny indicated that 'Chahe Jaan Le' embodies an Indian neo-soul vibe, combining elements of blues, R&B, and soul.

“Neo-soul is both modern and straightforward, yet musically rich. Previously, I didn’t have a song like this in my collection, so I’m thrilled to have it now. My goal is always to reinvent myself, preventing audiences from pigeonholing me. Many think I only perform upbeat or party tracks, but my talent extends far beyond that. If people don’t explore my breadth, I’ll create my own music to highlight it,”
