Chennai, Jan 17 (NationPress) The team behind director Gunasekhar's contemporary social narrative 'Euphoria', starring Bhoomika Chawla in a pivotal role, has unveiled a captivating trailer for the film, which is set to release in theaters on February 6, 2026.

Produced by Guna Handmade Films and showcased by Sri Thenandal Films, 'Euphoria' is poised to be a modern social drama.

For those unaware, director Gunasekhar is renowned for his films, including 'Okkadu', featuring Mahesh Babu, and 'Rudhramadevi', starring Anushka Shetty.

The trailer opens with a young girl expressing her parents' wishes for her to emulate young civil servants like Smitha Sabharwal or Amrapali, indicating she was on the right track.

Upon receiving an invitation to a party, her father encourages her to attend, believing it to be a "non-alcoholic" gathering, emphasizing the importance of social experiences alongside academics.

As the trailer unfolds, it depicts a chaotic scene of protestors vandalizing property while a news anchor reveals that a woman has filed charges against herself for a crime she committed. It is revealed that Bhoomika is the one who has taken this drastic step, with the reasons behind her actions remaining unclear, leaving the audience speculating.

We then witness disillusioned youth engaging in reckless and violent conduct. A news reporter comments on the increasing crime rates among minors, juxtaposed against a scene of a girl being assaulted by a group of adolescent boys. Following these grim visuals, Bhoomika remarks, "I regret giving birth to him; I should have aborted him."

Besides Bhoomika Chawla, the film also features notable director Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sara Arjun, and Nassar in significant roles. Following the blockbuster success of 'Dhurandhar', 'Euphoria' represents Sara Arjun's next major project, raising high expectations among viewers.

The film features music composed by Kaala Bhairava, with cinematography handled by Praveen K. Pothan. The dialogues have been crafted by Nagendra Kasi and Krishna Hari, while Praveen Pudi oversees the editing.
