Chennai, Feb 28 (NationPress) Director J B Britto, known for his upcoming film ‘Niram Marum Ulagil’, which boasts a stellar cast including Natty, Rio Raj, Bharathirajaa, Yogi Babu, and Sandy, emphasizes the profound love of a mother in his narrative.
In an exclusive conversation with IANS, Britto shared his inspiration for the film, stating, “We frequently witness young individuals taking drastic actions over trivial matters. There have been tragic instances where young people have lost their lives because their parents denied them a bike or didn’t permit them to play video games. This generation often believes they are alone in their struggles. They should observe the world around them and recognize that others also face challenges that can be far more severe.”
Britto asserts that the most invaluable treasure in life is a mother’s love. “For anyone contemplating suicide, I urge you to spend quality time with your parents. Just lying on your mother’s lap for a moment can drastically alter your perspective.”
The film ‘Niram Marum Ulagil’ will intertwine four narratives, unified by a fifth story that centers on a dialogue between two characters.
“Each of these four tales is inspired by real-life events. I crafted a fifth story to unify them into a singular narrative. One tale unfolds by the seaside, another in the Kamathipura district of Mumbai, a third in a rural setting, and the fourth in North Chennai,” Britto elaborates.
Alongside veteran director Bharathirajaa, the film includes prominent talents such as Natty, choreographer and actor Sandy, and actor Rio Raj, among others like Yogi Babu, Vigneshkanth, Rishikanth, Aegan, Kaniha, Vadivukarasi, Aadukalam Naren, Mime Gopi, Suresh Chakravarthy, and Suresh Menon.
Produced by L Catherine Shoba and Lenin, the film features music composed by Dev Prakash Regan and cinematography by Mallika Arjun and Manikanda Raja.
The editing is handled by Tamil Arasan, while SJ Ram, Dinesh, and Subeandar are responsible for art direction. The film boasts contributions from three lyricists and three costume designers. The lyrics are penned by A.S Dawood, Acksharah Balakrishnan, and Arjun Rajkumar, while costume design is managed by Sridevi Gopalakrishnan, Jeeva Karunya, and Rebecca. Notably, the film is co-directed by Melbert, Boopathi Raja, and Poo Sivaprakasham.
