Mumbai, Dec 9 (NationPress) Ashutosh Gowariker’s production company celebrated a significant milestone on Monday, as it marked 20 years in the industry. The noted filmmaker expressed that this achievement is a testament to every artist, technician, and crew member who has been part of his filmmaking journey.

Reflecting on the path taken, Gowariker stated, “Sunita and I initiated AGPPL with the aspiration to bring to life the stories we are passionate about.”

He continued, “Through this venture, I have had the honor of connecting and collaborating with incredibly talented individuals who have made this journey truly remarkable. Completing 20 years is a moment filled with immense pride and gratitude. It is to the credit of every artist, technician, and crew member who has been part of our films and our journey.”

He added, “To all of them, I express my heartfelt thanks! To our amazing audiences, I am deeply grateful and humbled by the love and support you have shown us throughout the years!”

Founded in 2004 by Gowariker and his wife Sunita, AGPPL’s journey commenced with the iconic Shah Rukh Khan film “Swades”, which remains a timeless tribute to home and humanity. The production house has since been behind successful films like “Jodhaa Akbar”, “Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey”, “Mohenjo Daro”, and “Panipat”.

On this remarkable occasion, AGPPL released a special trailer that encapsulates its two-decade journey. This trailer showcases snippets from the production house’s landmark films, celebrating the artistry, grandeur, and emotional depth that have become synonymous with Ashutosh Gowariker’s cinematic vision.

Producer Sunita Gowariker shared, “AGPPL, my third child, born in the year 2004, turns 20 today! It has been a thrilling ride chasing this dream with hard work, joyous moments, and challenges, and I have cherished every bit of it.”

Sunita reflected on their body of work with pride, stating, “These 20 years have been an extraordinary journey of collaboration, creativity, and steadfast commitment, and we are excited about what the future has in store.”
