Mumbai, April 23 (NationPress) Numerous Indian celebrities have voiced their strong condemnation of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Luminaries such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Sidharth Malhotra, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Nani, NTR Jr., and Allu Arjun, among many others, have shared their feelings of shock, anger, and sorrow over this tragic event.
While officials are set to release the death toll from Tuesday’s attack after compiling the victims’ names and addresses, sources informed IANS that 26 tourists have died, including two foreigners, with 20 others injured, comprising both tourists and locals.
Taking to X, previously known as Twitter, actor Sidharth Malhotra, who portrayed Captain Vikram Batra in the film “Shershaah”, expressed: “The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir against innocent civilians is a cowardly act. I have absolute faith in our armed forces, and I trust they will ensure justice. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims' families. Jai Hind!”
Actor Sanjay Dutt, known for his roles in movies like LOC Kargil and Mission Kashmir, also took to X urging for retaliation.
“They killed our people in cold blood. This cannot be forgiven; these terrorists must realize we won’t remain silent. We need to retaliate, and I implore our Prime Minister @narendramodi, Home Minister @AmitShah, and Defence Minister @rajnathsingh,” he tweeted.

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who also appeared in “LOC Kargil”, took to Instagram to express her sorrow.
She stated: “Beyond heartbroken for the victims and their families. Praying for the lives lost #Pahalgam.”
Actress Raveena Tandon expressed her shock and anger, saying: “Om Shanti. Condolences. Shocked and angry. No words can articulate the anguish. Prayers and strength to the victims. It’s time we let go of petty internal conflicts, unite, and recognize the true enemy.”
