Will the makers of Chiranjeevi's #Mega157 take legal action against unauthorized videos?

Chennai, July 19 (NationPress) Expressing concern over the unapproved videos and images being shared from the sets of Anil Ravipudi's highly anticipated commercial comedy, #Mega157, starring megastar Chiranjeevi, the film's producers have issued a stern warning. They will pursue severe legal action against individuals or platforms that are found disseminating such leaked content.

On Saturday, production companies Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments took to X to release a statement that read, "We have observed that unapproved videos and images from the sets of #Mega157 are being captured and circulated on social media. This is regarded as a serious breach of trust and an infringement on intellectual property rights."

They urged everyone to avoid recording or sharing any material from the sets without the necessary permissions, emphasizing that such actions disrupt the creative process and undermine the hard work of the entire team dedicated to this eagerly awaited film.

"Be advised that any person or platform sharing, uploading, or circulating such unauthorized material will face strict legal repercussions under copyright infringement and anti-piracy laws," the production houses warned, highlighting that Mega 157 (#ChiruAnil) is a project crafted with care and passion.

They continued, "We implore fans and media outlets to support us by awaiting official announcements from the makers. Let's collaborate to preserve the excitement and integrity of the project. Your understanding and continued support are greatly valued."

It is noteworthy that just a month prior, the production unit completed the film's second schedule in the picturesque hill station of Mussoorie.

The film, currently referred to as #Mega157, is being produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under the banners of Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments.

Anticipation is high for this film as Nayanthara will share the screen with Chiranjeevi for the third time, following the success of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Godfather.

The first schedule was recently completed in Hyderabad. Sources indicate that the footage from the film is impressive, and Chiranjeevi's comedic timing is expected to remind audiences of his golden era in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Director Anil Ravipudi, known for his recent blockbuster Sankranthiki Vasthunam, is helming this project.

Bheems Ceciroleo is responsible for the film's music, while Sameer Reddy serves as the cinematographer. Tammiraju is handling the editing, and A S Prakash is the art director. The executive producer is S Krishna, and the story has been co-written by S Krishna and G Adi Narayana.

The film is set for release during Sankranti 2026.
