Los Angeles, April 4 (NationPress) Actor Chris Pratt disclosed that the bungalow of his character Owen Grady in the 2015 sequel directed by Colin Trevorrow was “damaged” by a fallen tree during the recent storms in Hawaii.

“Let me share something about this,” Pratt expressed to Entertainment Weekly while examining an image of the location.

“I received a message from my friend Jason Morgan, who resides on this ranch, informing me that a storm hit yesterday and a tree collapsed on top of Owen’s bungalow. It was destroyed yesterday,” Pratt noted, as reported by deadline.com.

This interview follows revelations by Jason Momoa, who shared that he and his family had to evacuate O’ahu’s North Shore due to the severe flooding caused by Hawaii’s seasonal cyclones, known as Kona lows, which brought about the worst flooding seen in two decades.

“I have my family with me,” he mentioned in his Instagram Story.

“We left the North Shore; many have been asking. Our power went out. We’re safe for now, but several others aren’t, so we’re sending all our love,” Momoa added. “The North Shore is in a pretty dire situation right now. I hope everyone is safe and managing to evacuate. Stay safe out there.”

A report from the University of Hawaii stated that the storm unleashed a staggering 2 trillion gallons of rainfall over a span of 14 days, according to deadline.com.

The Jurassic Park franchise, later branded as Jurassic World, is a science fiction media series created by Michael Crichton, centered around a failed attempt to construct a theme park featuring cloned dinosaurs.

This franchise began in 1990 when Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment acquired the rights to Crichton’s novel Jurassic Park before its publication. The book was a hit, as was Steven Spielberg's film adaptation released in 1993.

Crichton’s sequel novel, The Lost World, which came out in 1995, was followed by a film adaptation in 1997, also directed by Spielberg. Although Crichton did not author further sequels, Spielberg returned as an executive producer for each subsequent film, beginning with Jurassic Park III.

In 2015, the franchise launched a second trilogy starting with Jurassic World, which achieved significant box office success, leading to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Jurassic World Dominion.

A new film, Jurassic World Rebirth, is set to release in theaters in 2025.
