Did Christina Applegate Discover Where She Got Covid-19?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Los Angeles, Feb 11 (NationPress) Hollywood actress Christina Applegate appears to have pinpointed the source of her Covid-19 infection. She has expressed that she is confident she caught the virus during the ‘Married With Children’ reunion.
The 54-year-old star reunited with her former co-stars Ed O'Neill, Katey Sagal, and David Faustino for the An Evening with the Buntys event a fortnight ago. She mentioned that she believes she contracted the virus due to not wearing a mask and the presence of numerous germs in the venue, according to reports from Female First UK.
During a conversation with Jamie Lynn Sigler on their MeSsy podcast, she stated, “It was at the Wiltern theatre in Los Angeles. There were a couple of thousand people present.”
“I just tried to bring some humor. You know how I am. We took questions, and there was a moderator, a guy who used to warm up our audience. The event felt like it lasted a few hours, but it was probably just an hour,” she added.
According to Female First UK, Christina, who received a multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis in 2021, had a good time, although it was quite tiring for her.
She commented, “I was really exhausted, sweet Jamie, you know me; the MS hits hard. It was so late at night; it didn’t start until 7:30. I know you’re laughing, but for me, that’s the worst. You’re supposed to be in pajamas at that hour! I shouldn’t be in hair and makeup in front of thousands, answering questions. Still, it was wonderful. I think the audience enjoyed it, and it was lovely to be with my family.”
The actress, who shares a 15-year-old daughter named Sadie with husband Martyn LeNoble, previously revealed that she longs for the person she was prior to becoming ill.
On the Let's Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa podcast, Christina stated, “I don’t wake up each day with that mindset; I rise because of her.”
“She’s the reason I continue to push forward. However, she did mention something recently that struck me deeply, and I apologize, Sadie, but it needs to be said. She expressed, ‘I miss who you were before you got sick.’ That hit me like a knife to the heart because I also miss who I was before the illness. A lot,” she concluded.
