Key Takeaways
Los Angeles, March 22 (NationPress) Actress Christina Applegate, known for her roles in Hollywood, has opened up about her frequent dark thoughts regarding mortality. She admits to contemplating death every day.
The 54-year-old star, diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2021, disclosed that she has even secured a burial site for herself, as she often reflects on her own passing, according to reports from ‘Female First UK’.
During an episode of NPR's Wild Card with Rachel Martin, Applegate expressed, "It's looming. I mean, it looms for all of us.”
She noted that her health condition significantly influences her thoughts about life and death. Applegate remarked, "But for people who have a disease like this, you never know, you know? I bought my plots already, OK? I bought them.”
As reported by ‘Female First UK’, she has purchased burial plots for herself and two companions in a beautiful location.
She explained, "There’s going to be three of us there. But I did. My friend and I are going to take a picnic there. It’s really pretty where it is.”
Her decision to buy the burial plots was motivated by the desire to relieve her family of the responsibility when the time comes. Applegate shared, "I've been thinking about this particular area of this particular place for so long. And I finally was like, 'Is this available?'. They’re like, 'Yes, it is'. I was like, 'Oh, my God, buying it now'. Just buy it now. That way, nobody has to deal with it.”
Christina, who gained fame as the flirtatious teen Kelly Bundy in ‘Married... with Children’, admitted to feeling discomfort over how viewers perceived her character, acknowledging it contributed to her struggles with body dysmorphia and anorexia.
