Chennai, Jan 29 (NationPress) The creators of the upcoming horror comedy film ‘DD Next Level’, directed by S Prem Anand and starring Santhanam, announced on Wednesday that the filming has been successfully completed, and the release is scheduled for May this year.
On the final day of shooting, Santhanam and the crew celebrated by cutting a cake.
The production company, Niharika Entertainment, shared this milestone on their social media platforms.

It is noteworthy that just a week prior, the first look of the film was unveiled in celebration of Santhanam’s birthday.
DD Next Level – Devil’s Double marks the continuation of the highly successful Dhillukku Duddu (DD) series, with Santhanam reprising his role as the lead character.
This installment will also feature directors Gautham Vasudev Menon and Selvaraghavan in significant roles.
With a substantial budget, the film is being produced by Niharika Entertainment and The Show People, with Arya presenting it.
Director S. Prem Anand, who previously directed 'DD Returns', is back at the helm for this new project.
Speaking about the film, Prem Anand stated, “DD Returns was a massive hit, receiving an excellent response from audiences across various demographics. We dedicated a year to crafting the script for its sequel. This film aims to entertain both children and adults alike.”
The storyline is set to commence on a cruise ship and unfold on an island. “We constructed elaborate sets at a significant expense. It’s fantastic that Niharika Entertainment, Arya, and Santhanam have collaborated on this project. It promises to be even more thrilling and comical than 'DD Returns'. Dipak Kumar Padhy is responsible for the cinematography of 'DD Next Level', while Ofro has composed the music. Bharath is tasked with editing, and AR Mohan has overseen the film’s art direction.
