Mumbai, Dec 5 (NationPress) After nearly two years, Ranveer Singh has made his grand return to cinemas with Aditya Dhar's film 'Dhurandhar'.
As the film premiered on Friday, Deepika Padukone, his wife, was one of the first to witness the action-packed spectacle.
Deepika didn't hold back on her feelings and took to her Instagram Stories to express her thoughts. She described the entire 3.34-hour film as 'worth every minute'.
Her post read, 'Dhurandhar has been viewed and it’s worth every minute of those 3.34 hours! Treat yourselves and head to the cinema NOW! I'm so incredibly proud of you, ranveersingh! Kudos to the entire cast and crew! @adityadharfilms | @officialjiostudios (sic)'.
Earlier that day, actress Yami Gautam also shared heartfelt words for her director husband, Aditya Dhar, and the 'Dhurandhar' team, referring to them as some of the “hardest working and finest people” she's ever known.
In her post, she said, 'And it’s DHURANDHAR DAY today!!!! Some of the hardest working & gems of people that I know & I’m proud to call them my family! You’ve poured your heart, devotion, and passion into this film, Aditya!!! (sic)'
She continued with, 'Too many emotions today, many hearts beating together!!! You guys are Dhurandhars in your own right. DHURANDHAR is not just a parting gift of 2025, but a welcome to 2026 for audiences worldwide. This film is now yours, audience. Jai Hind.'
Featuring Ranveer, Akshay Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R. Madhavan in pivotal roles, 'Dhurandhar' is speculated to be loosely inspired by Operation Lyari, a government initiative aimed at combating local gangs and crime syndicates in Karachi's Lyari region, Pakistan.
