Chennai, March 14 (NationPress) The creative team behind director Vignesh Raja's forthcoming action-packed film 'Kara', starring Dhanush in the leading role, unveiled 'Vaaya Ey Karasaami', the initial lyric video from the movie, on Saturday, much to the excitement of fans and cinephiles.

This dark, rhythm-driven track serves as an invocation to the deity Karasaami (who also shares the name with the film's protagonist), pleading for justice against malevolent forces and urging the divine to enact vengeance.

Composed by music director G V Prakash Kumar, the song features lyrics by Arunraja Kamaraj and is performed by a talented ensemble of singers including Arunraja Kamaraj, Anthony Daasan, Satyan, and V M Mahalingam.

The release of this song has only heightened the anticipation of fans, who are keenly waiting for the film's premiere on April 30 this year.

Notably, the title of the film was revealed by the creators during Pongal this year, along with a striking poster showcasing Dhanush in a serious demeanor, captioned: "Sometimes, staying dangerous is the only way to stay alive."

Previously, the production house shared a behind-the-scenes image of Dhanush, captioning it, "Straight from the sets of #D54 - Shoot in progress! @dhanushkraja". The photo depicted Dhanush conversing from an STD booth.

The cast includes Mamitha Baiju as the female lead and features a robust ensemble alongside a skilled technical team.

In addition to Dhanush and Mamitha Baiju, the film also showcases talents like director K S Ravikumar, Jayaram, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Karunas, and Prithvi Pandiraj in crucial roles.

On the technical side, the cinematography is handled by the esteemed Theni Eswar, with editing by Sreejith Sarang. Music is provided by the National Award-winning G V Prakash.

Importantly, the film's narrative has been collaboratively crafted by writer Alfred Prakash and director Vignesh Raja, known for their successful partnership in the acclaimed thriller 'Por Thozhil'.

Alfred Prakash, a close friend of director Vignesh Raja, previously noted in an interview that they share a deep understanding, which enhances their collaborative writing process.

After spending four years perfecting 'Por Thozhil', the duo believes that co-authoring a story fosters a beneficial exchange of ideas, making the narrative stronger.
