Diljit Dosanjh Discusses 'Mera Bharat Mahaan' with PM Modi

Mumbai, Jan 2 (NationPress): One of the most acclaimed Punjabi artists currently, Diljit Dosanjh began 2025 by meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Insights from their recent discussion have captured significant attention on social media.
The two conversed on various subjects, including 'Mera Bharat Mahaan'. In the video, Diljit is heard telling the PM, 'We used to read about Mera Bharat Mahaan, but when I traveled across the country I finally understood why we say so.'
In response, our respected Prime Minister stated, 'In reality, India's grandeur is its power. India is a vibrant society.'
Complimenting the singer, the Prime Minister remarked, 'When an Indian youth from the countryside achieves global recognition, it feels wonderful.' He further added, 'Your family has named you Diljit… and you go on to win over the hearts of the people.'
The video also features Diljit performing a few lines in Punjabi, honoring Guru Nanak Ji. PM Modi was seen enjoying the melodious performance, tapping his hand on the table.
The actor and singer also highlighted the significance of Yoga. To this, PM Modi replied, 'Those who have experienced Yoga are genuinely aware of its power.'
PM Narendra Modi also shared several photos from the meeting on his official X account (formerly known as Twitter), captioning, 'A great interaction with Diljit Dosanjh! He’s truly multifaceted, blending talent and tradition. We connected over music, culture, and more…'
Moreover, Diljit delighted his fans by posting a few pictures with the PM on X, stating, 'A fantastic start to 2025. A very memorable meeting with PM @narendramodiJi. We discussed a lot of topics including music, of course.'
On the professional front, Diljit recently wrapped up his 'Dil-Luminati India Tour'. The two-month tour concluded on December 31, 2024, in Ludhiana where he performed at the Punjab Agriculture University.
