Diljit Dosanjh Prays at Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain

Mumbai, Dec 10 (NationPress) The celebrated Punjabi artist Diljit Dosanjh visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, to offer his prayers as part of his Dil-Luminati Tour throughout India.

During his visit, the Punjabi singer-actor participated in the bhasma aarti alongside his team members in the early morning hours. This temple is recognized as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, revered shrines believed to be the most holy residences of Lord Shiva.

Diljit received a shawl from the temple authorities and later shared a reel on his Instagram showcasing his temple visit, where the main deity, Shiva, in the form of a lingam, is considered to be Swayambhu.

In his post, Diljit, seen making offerings in the video, captioned it with: “Jai Shri MAHAKAL.”

Recently, he performed in Indore and is scheduled to entertain fans in Chandigarh on December 14, followed by a concert in Mumbai on December 19. His tour is set to wrap up in Guwahati on December 29.

On December 9, he amusingly shared a clip of fans climbing onto a truck’s roof to catch a glimpse of him and his concert.

Diljit also addressed the issue of ticket black marketing during his performance in Indore, stating, “For a long time, people in our country have been blaming me for tickets being sold in black. It’s not my responsibility if a ticket priced at Rs. 10 is resold for Rs. 100. I recall a poem by Rahat Indori.”

He recited the poem, expressing, “Not in my cage, put it elsewhere. You’ve brought the sky, fine, you may place it on the ground. Sir, where will you seek my killers now? Do one thing, put the blame on me. Media, criticize me as much as you wish. I fear no defamation; I have no worries.”

“This isn’t new; since the era of Indian cinema, the black marketing of tickets has existed, only the platforms have evolved,” he concluded.
